Aim of the workshop
This workshop will provide an overview of Seed health testing methods and method validation principle as well as methods to check the performance of their quality system: ability to implement a method, proficiency tests organization. It will allow participants to work with their computer on practical examples of qualitative and quantitative Seed Health results to train on test plan writing, characterization of samples, analysis of results, redaction of protocols, ranking of labs for Seed Health proficiency tests.
Language: English (slides and presentations) with Spanish translator.
The workshop is aimed for people who implement new methods in their lab, are or want to be accredited and want to check the performance of their quality system and understand how ISTA access it. It is also for people who want to validate new methods or organize proficiency tests. Participants will need to come to the workshop with their own laptop with windows (Excel) environment.

The workshop venue will be accessible by bus.
450€ for ISTA members, 675€ for non ISTA members
The number of participants is a minimum of 16, without which the workshop will be cancelled and limited to a maximum of 30. The registration fee will include all literature and supporting material for the workshop, lunches and coffee breaks, workshop dinner and transfer between the workshop venue and hotels (except airport transfer). It does not include accommodation or meals other than those specified.
Registration will be opened in October 2016.

If you would like to attend the workshop please fill in the registration form. An invoice will be sent to you, which has to be paid before the participation confirmation will be generated. Please indicate any dietary requirements during registration.
All payments are required prior to the 1st of February, 2017 in EUR and payable to ISTA.
For cancellations made before 1st of February registration fees are refundable less a EUR 50 administration fee. For cancellations made after 1st of February registration fees are non-refundable
